Salary: £39,000 - £45,000 gross per annum (depending on experience) + bonus scheme & staff incentives

Description

A Nursery Manager is required for a children’s nursery in Over Peover, Cheshire (WA16).  The nursery cares for 120 children aged from 3 months to 5 years.

Hours: Monday – Friday: 40 hours – ideally 8 hour days of varying shifts (8:30 am – 5:00 pm or 9:30 am – 6:00 pm etc).  Would consider 40 hours over 4/4.5 days or around 35 hours for the right candidate.

Duties:

• Managing day to day of the nursery
• Adhering to guidelines
• Maintaining health & safety standards
• Promoting positive relationships with parents, children & staff
• Office duties
• Being a keyholder
• Formulate, operate & evaluate a yearly programme of activities as per National Curriculum
• Holding staff meetings & training sessions
• Organising events
• Teach, motive & embed outstanding practice across all elements of the nursery
• To be responsible for any tasks delegated by Ops & Development Director

You must:

• Have previous experience as a Nursery Manager with checkable references to support your application
• Have an Enhanced DBS certificate or happy to have done
• Be a driver with own car
• Have NVQ 3 childcare certification or recognised equivalent
• Like being outdoors (the nursery have weekly Forest School sessions)
• Have a good level of English
