Salary: £50,000 gross per annum

A Gardener is required to work on a large 22 acre estate in Arthington, nr Otley, West Yorkshire (LS21)

Accommodation could be provided for live-in position if required

Start Date: ASAP

Salary:  £50,000 gross per annum

Hours: Monday – Friday: 8:00/9:00 am – 4:00/5:00 pm 

Duties:

• Maintenance & care of lawns, shrubs & herbaceous borders, formal parterre, hornbeam walk, walled garden & polytunnel, beech & bluebell wood
• Monitor repairs & keep up to date with service/maintenance of equipment
• Produce fresh produce for kitchen
• Bring in wood for fireplaces
• Top up wood stores

You must:

• Have previous experience as a Gardener with checkable references to support your application
• Have a clear Enhanced DBS certificate or be happy to have one done
• Have a gardening qualification
• Be a driver with a car
• Be fit & energetic
• Like dogs
• Have a good level of English
